i received a charming upgrade to a larger room (a good surprise!). the short walk to the train station proved very convenient. i found the breakfast selection had many tasty options. it was lovely to start my day with fresh croissants.
the room lacked a refrigerator. i had to go out to get cold water, so that was a bit inconvenient.

the reception staff greeted me warmly each day, and were happy to provide directions. they offered helpful suggestions for local restaurants. the team ensured a smooth check-in and check-out process.

I found a few issues that dampened my enthusiasm. the safe provided was far too small to store my laptop, a real inconvenience. also, the tv offered only french channels plus aljazeera. I hoped for more variety. the toilet flush was broken. the shower head was also not fixed, it was annoying

the hotel is very clean. the location is convenient as it is close to gare de lyon. the staff was helpful and friendly . i was served coffee while i waited for a taxi.
the climate control system was centralized , so i couldn't turn on the air conditioning even on warmer days.
